Beef Kofta Curry


  • 1 Teaspoon of garam¬†masala
  • Olive Oil
  • Yoghurt
  • Bunch of coriander
  • 3 or 4 fresh ripe tomatoes
  • Dangote Salt and Dan-Q Beef Seasoning to your taste
  • Black Pepper
  • Thyme
  • Lean Beef Mince
  • 4 Spring Onions
  • 1 onion
  • Fresh Scotch Bonnet Chillies (optional)
  • 1 Tablespoon of Minced Ginger and Garlic
  • 1 Teaspoon of Turmeric
  • 1 Teaspoon of Honey
  • 2 Teaspoons of Curry Paste
  • Coconut Milk
  • 4 Tablespoons of Fat-free natural yoghurt
  • 1 Lemon


Start by placing the minced meat in a bowl, adding Dangote salt, Dan-Q beef seasoning, black pepper, garlic, ginger and garam masala. Then drizzle a little bit of olive oil on the meat and mix together. Roll the mixture into fat fingers and put them into a frying pan with a tablespoon of olive oil on low heat and turn over when golden brown then set aside.

Place the tomatoes into a food processor, add the minced  ginger, garlic, chopped spring onions, chillies, coriander stalks, turmeric, honey, curry paste and coconut milk, then blitz until combined and smooth. Pour the mixture into the kofta pan, bring to the boil for five minutes and season again if need be. Can be served with boiled white rice or naan bread.
